By Lewis Epstein, M.S.W.

Lewis Epstein provides successful, proven methods and exercises for men to become more emotionally connected to their children. This second edition includes new chapters, such as “Long Distance Fathering,” “Fathers and Divorce” and “Gay Fatherhood.” These newly included sections show how men can be influential and productive dads when far from their children, techniques to maintain healthy relationships after a painful divorce, as well as helps gay men handle stages of being a single parent. Current resources, mentioning organizations and support groups, as well as a brand new introduction by the author, have also been added.

This book is perfect for men with children on the way, estranged fathers trying to parent, and those entering the crucial role of stepfather. The advice given throughout the book also helps men aid in the progression and development of their families for a sound and caring future.
