Saving Grace
The True Story of the Mother-to-Be, a Deranged Attacker and An Unborn Child

by Sarah Brady, Patrick Crowley and Eric Deters

In a gripping, bizarre scenario straight out of The Twilight Zone- Sarah Brady, a happy, nine month pregnant, Mother-to-be is telephoned out of the blue by Kate Smith. Smith, using the alias Sarah Brody, announces she is also pregnant, has signed up for the same baby registry and has mistakenly been sent baby gifts meant for Brady.  When Brady stops by Smith's apartment to retrieve them she walks into a deadly trap.  Smith pulls out a knife and attacks her but Brady fights back and tries to wrestle the knife away.  What results is a fight to the death.

Police must decide whether growing evidence in their investigation indicates that Brady fatally stabbed her attacker in an act of self defense or murder.

In this page-turner about a case which has provoked world attention from movie producers, news and talk shows and FBI agents, Sarah Brady tells, in her own words, and for the first time, the whole story of how she fought off and killed a knife-wielding attacker who wanted to steal her unborn child and why she should be judged innocent.
