Quick Pick-Me-Up Remedies

by Joyce Quick and Lexie Pfetzing

In today's stress filled world, everybody gets the blues now and again. But sometimes bad moods linger and we are unable to move on to happier times. In :60 Second Bluesbusters, Joyce Quick and Lexie Pfetzing provide fifty-five quick, simple and fun ways to beat back these sour spirits that sometimes plague us.

Focusing on relieving the temporary downs of life rather than the clinical aspects of more serious depression, the book provides quick to read and easy to understand suggestions to effectively combat low spirits, soothe a bad mood and get back on track. These exercises can be used whenever they are needed to relieve the blues.

Offering such mood-lifting options as “Make it a Bluesbuster Night,” “Give Yourself a Mmmassage,” “Hit the Road Without a Map," “Hot Mamas in Pajamas,” or “Knead a Lift? Bake Some Bread,” the authors provide surefire remedies to the blues that can be accomplished on the spot and in no time flat.

:60 Second Bluesbusters is a must read for everyone who wants to dispel gloomy feelings and free themselves from their bad moods fast.
