Wicked Intentions
The Sheila
LaBarre
Murders
by Kevin Flynn
When
investigators are called to the secluded farm of attractive,
forty-something Sheila LaBarre, they find the dismembered and
incinerated remains of her young lover, a man with a child’s IQ.
Neighbors are afraid to talk. A series of young men have come and
gone from the farm over the years, all who’ve seemed to vanish into
thin air. Now the tempestuous woman is on the run. And even if
police could find her, she has obliterated any physical evidence, so
proving her guilt seems like an impossible task…
WICKED
INTENTIONS
puts its own mark on the true crime genre. It is an
unforgettable take of brutality and madness, or sensuality and
scheming, where everything is not as it seems. The victims are
sympathetic. The evidence is taxing. The facts are haunting.
As the Emmy award-winning
television reporter who first broke the story of Sheila LaBarre
Murders, Kevin Flynn is uniquely positioned, like Ann Rule in
The Stranger Beside Me,
to tell the bizarre chain of events which culminated in one of our
nation’s most sensational murder stories – a spellbinding true story
of obsession and vigilantism carried to a deadly extreme.
Kevin
