Childlight
How Children Reach Out To Their Parents From The Beyond
by Donna Theisen and Dary Matera
When Donna Theisen's adult son, Michael, tragically dies in an auto accident, she is emotionally devastated and consumed by grief. Soon she finds herself, confused and frightened, being led into an alternate dimension as her son miraculously reaches out to her from beyond the wall of death. His presence takes many forms: a fluttering yellow butterfly, his digital alarm clock repeatedly flashing the time of his death, a majestic bald eagle circling over Donna's house while Michael's voice whispers, "Mom, don't cry for me anymore. I'm free and happy. Be at peace."
Searching for solace and the support of people who have experienced the death of a child, Donna begins communicating with other bereaved parents. She discovers that she is not alone in experiencing this unbreakable spiritual link between parent and child.
Childlight recounts Donna's personal story and the even more astonishing stories of her special "fraternity" of parents—stories that all begin with the unbearable heartbreak of a child's death, but ultimately transform into wondrously uplifting accounts of joy and comfort as the departed children reach out to their parents from the beyond.
Inspirational and enlightening, Childlight also includes a coping guide, where and how to find support groups, and passages of healing meditations.
