Animal Angels
True Tales of Creatures that Changed and Enriched People's Lives

by Charlene R. Johnson
and Michael Rebel

Like guardian angels, there are creatures, both domestic and wild, that appear almost magically at the very moment their compassionate guidance and support is most needed by their human brothers and sisters. In times of change, loss, pain or renewal, these animals, like signs on a long, dark road, guide humans through difficult choices.

The authors reveal the deep spiritual link that connects man to animal through true stories of people whose lives have been changed forever by relationships or encounters with animals. From the start, readers will be inspired by co-author Johnson’s amazing story in which she is saved from a charging pit bull by a Labrador retriever she has never seen before and that vanishes as quickly and mysteriously as it appeared. The wondrous stories continue, from the man whose dangerous encounter with an owl leads to a stunning breakthrough in his life to the heartwarming tale of the gentle dog that brought an elderly woman out of her apartment and helped her reconnect with people for the first time in years.

Animal Angels is a testament to the hope, love and happiness that all people can find if they open their hearts and minds to the wonder of the special bond we share with other creatures and the life lessons animals can provide.
