Peter A. Spevak, Ph.D., founder and Director of the Center for Applied Motivation, has appeared on Good Morning America and has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Newsday, Newsweek, Ladies' Home Journal, Parenting Magazine, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lives in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, D.C.
