Brenda Gunn, a registered medical professional, received her training from Kansas City Medical and Dental College. When she was eighteen, she wrote and published Sweden Shoes and Breath of Ballet, two stage plays. An avid animal lover, she cares for abused and neglected pets and raises rare and exotic animals. She lives in Kingsville, near Kansas City, Missouri. Shannon Richardson, a former prison guard who has had ten screenplays optioned and was a Sundance Institute finalist, has guest lectured at The Kennedy Center, The American Film Institute and several colleges.
