Jeanette Popp is the mother of the murdered Nancy, an eighth grade drop out and former teenage mother, who advocated actively for Danziger’s and Ochoa’s release. She went on to run for the Texas Legislature. She now is an active motivational speaker with her own radio show. She lives in Graham, Texas.
Wanda Evans, an accomplished journalist writer and speaker, has been published in many venues, including the notable true crime book Trail of Blood and magazines such as Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping and Southern Living. A former columnist for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, she lives in Lubbock, Texas.
